What to stash this week: Hygge awaits

From December 4–9, Marny and Lynn of Explore Knitting Tours are heading to Copenhagen, Denmark. You’ll visit charming yarn shops and festive Christmas markets, cruise the canal in a heated boat and wander the colorful streets of Nyhavn. Marny, a designer and instructor, will guide you in creating winter accessories inspired by your trip. Non-knitters are also welcome to get cozy.

Michelle has introduced two vivid coordinating colorways: Resurrection and Paid in Full are available on a variety of bases.

Francoise Danoy has released the Contemplation Shawl, which celebrates the value of letting your mind wander. It starts with a winding cable border that requires some attention. Once that’s completed, you can relax into the textured garter stitch body.

Michelle of WoolNeedleThread has enhanced her classic project bags, making them a little larger and adding leather handles and magnetic snap closures. There are also some zipper pouches and handbags that would make great gifts if you’re looking for one this week.

Andrea’s latest Woolen Yarn Box is a trip to the beach, without the sand. Boxes include a single skein or sock set, plus handmade goodies that fit the seaside theme.
