Megan of Megs & Co chose a photo of a chandelier-like cluster of monarch butterflies in a tree on the California coast as the inspiration for her Knitting Our National Parks colorway. Monarch Chandelier is stunning mix of orange, green, brown and gold, with just a hint of pink that makes for what I think of as a speckled neutral.
The colorway is available to preorder from Indie Untangled for the next two weeks on two bases that are appropriately made in the USA. American Merino Dream, is a 100% U.S. Mercerized Merino Wool with a generous 450 yards per skein, and Ghost Town DK is a heavy DK/light worsted weight comprised of 100% Superwash Rambouillet/Merino wool, with 228 yards per skein.
Erin and Holly of Stitch Stuff Yarn have restocked their popular Take a Hike colorway on Plumpy Sock Stuff and Mindful on Fluff Stuff (Suri silk). A test knitter used these two yarns for Andrea Mowry’s new Brume sweater pattern.
Trisha of Yarn Jam has completed a transition to new bases and so you can access the last sale — with yarn as low as at $7 per skein — for the foreseeable future.
Victoria of Eden Cottage Yarns recently had an update of Pendle Sport, her Superwash extrafine Merino in a sport weight, with sweater quantities available.
