What to stash this week: Plan your holiday crafting

Gold, pink, red, white, brown and green yarn in a flat basket.

As people who make clothing from string, we do have to start our projects early. Fortunately, Kate of McMullin Fiber Co is having a special update for all of you getting a head start on holiday crafting! It includes lots of ready-to-ship mini skein collections in holiday colors, preorders for full-sized holiday colorways and a handful of remaining spots in her Christmas Countdown for 2021. Celebrate with collections inspired by the Nutcracker, the Rocky Mountains, a cozy Farmhouse Christmas and the bright and cheery colors of the 1950s.

Kate is closing up shop Saturday for an extended (and I’m sure much-needed) family break, so she has a special coupon for Indie Untangled readers that is good today and tomorrow only: use the code VERYMERRY for 15% off your entire McMullin Fiber Co purchase.

A four-skein fade set of red-orange yarn.

Debbie of Murky Depths Dyeworks is being inspired by the heat wave to dye up some hot colors, including her Fire Festival fade set on Harbour Singles fingering.

A white mini plastic alpaca with green knitting.

Michelle of Crafty Flutterby Creations has added some Adaptable Alpacas to her menagerie of end minders, which can keep your ends tidy, store yarn for repairs, tame your joins, or make a handy portable color swatch.

A bear constellation and the words Bad Lux Designs 2021 Advent Calendar
The Bad Lux Designs’ Advent calendars are available for preorder. Each of the 24 DK-weight mini skeins plus one full skein is inspired by a constellation in the night sky.
