The holiday season is approaching and I want to do something extra sweet to say a heartfelt THANK YOU! to my customers for choosing to use Sweet Sheep body care products. For the month of November, every order placed with a subtotal over $10 will receive a free sample-sized lotion bar in a surprise scent. This little gift is a great way to try out a new fragrance, keep it for yourself, or share it with a friend to spread the sheep-y goodness!

I don’t believe I’ve properly introduced our new autumn scents yet, so without further ado, here are some seasonal favorites to get you in the crisp-cool-fall-days mood:

– Apple Butter: sweet, tart, caramel, cinnamon, delicious.
– Autumn Harvest: brisk, sweet, leafy, fruity, spiced.
– Black Tea: leafy, warm, smokey, herbal, assam.
– Frosted Cranberry: bright, sparkling, fruity, tangy, crisp.
– Honey Oatmeal: warm, comforting, honey, creamy, sophisticated.
– Kumquat: bright, sweet, citrus, refreshing, sunshine.
– Pumpkin Spice: fresh, warm, cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin, fall.

And if you just can’t choose just one scent, you can try three (Pumpkin Spice, Frosted Cranberry, and Apple Butter) in the Fall Favorites gift set, which consists of three sample-sized lotion bars attractively packaged in a cotton muslin bag (perfect for gift giving!).

Happy fall, and stay sweet!

There are still a few Indie Untangled yarn ball bags left over from the pre-Rhinebeck Trunk Show. If you want some instant gratification, there is a Reversible Fabric Yarn Bowl ($35), a Pandora Poke project bag ($50) and a Cindy Sue I large project bag ($55) available to ship out within a day or two of your order. Just use the order form in the Indie Untangled Shop.

If you’d like another item, Vicki and I are happy to accept orders and will be producing another batch shortly.

If you are like me and have little balls of sock yarn hidden away throughout your home, then it’s time to cast on for Stash Bash!

Knit or Treat!! Stash Bash is just $2.99 on Ravelry until November 5th and then it will be $6.

Stash Bash comes in two versions: Mild or Wild. The Mild version was knitted with two full skeins of Kismet Fiber Works Fingering yarn. The Wild version was knitted with one full skein of Bugga and varying amounts of left over sock yarns.

The pattern includes directions for both and how to adjust the sizing if you would like a larger or smaller shawl.

If you missed us at Rhinebeck, here’s your chance to stock up on some Alpenglow Yarn! We’re doing a bit of Halloween housekeeping, clearing out older bases to make room for new ones. Groovy Goat, Small Farm Groove, and Sylvan Wool are all 40% off, only $12 per skein!

What are these yarns, you ask? Groovy Goat and Small Farm Groove are beautiful blends of fine wool and yearling mohair. Don’t let the mohair content fool you into thinking “scratchy” — mohair from young goats is silky, shiny, and strong. The yarn has a beautiful luster and many of the colors are overdyed on natural grey, giving them a wonderful subtlety and depth. All colors are naturally dyed, of course!

Sylvan Wool is a gorgeously shiny blend of 50% fine wool and 50% tencel. It’s a great sweater yarn for warmer climes (yes, we’re looking at you fellow Californians!), and since the tencel dyes differently than the wool, the colors have a wonderful tweedy look to them. It’s also great for any project that needs just a little bit of flowing drape.

Go ahead, add a little Groove or Sylvan shine to your stash for only $12! And don’t forget to select the “Free Shipping” option. It’ll zoom to your doorway via USPS First Class or Priority Mail, depending on weight. Happy Halloween!
