The Willow Breeze Collection was designed with movement, ease, and quiet beauty in mind. I am very excited to share with you the final release of the Summer Shawls and Sips Collection!

Meet Ocean Breeze, a unique shaped shawl that wraps you up in a warm hug! Knit in stockinette, garter, and a lovely lace pattern, it is finished with a garter edge and shows off your yarn beautifully. The pattern is designed holding Suri and Fingering together. However, don’t be afraid to get creative and opt for a DK-weight yarn and forgo the Suri. If you have mohair, that is a great sub for Suri, too.

Ocean Breeze was inspired by my friend Kristin of KraeO/Fuzz Family Yarns after she dyed up these stunning colors. I had other plans, but once I started swatching and playing, Ocean Breeze was born!

Let’s Get Cozy with Cables

I am sure many of us are working on holiday gifts or hurrying to knit those sweaters for the family photos! But I have a little something this week that may be a fun project for yourself. Or, team up with your LYS to kit up some yarn for your favorite knitting friend to gift them a new project.

The Spiced Cider scarf is so squishy and warm… I wore it all weekend as the temps dropped to below freezing here. It was perfect for standing outside with my pup Sophie as she did her business. ????

Spiced Cider is knit using Blue Sky Fibers Extra (you will need three hanks or 505 yards of Aran/heavy worsted-weight yarn) and a US 9/5.5 mm knitting needle. This scarf is filled with cables and they look a little complicated, however they are not (I promise)! There are tips to knit this without the cable needle, too. You can easily adjust to whatever length you wish (that will affect your total yardage, so keep that in mind). But this is a wonderful squishy scarf that is sure to please all those knitworthy people in your life!
