Now that Christmas gift knitting/crocheting is at an end, it’s time to work up something for the “me” list. To do that, you’ll probably need new yarn, right? Well, you’re in luck because I’m having an after-Christmas sale! All in-stock yarn and project bags will be discounted by 25% between December 26th and December 31st, so stop by the Cedar Hill Farm Company shop @ Zibbet.com and check it out! This sale includes all of my yarn, even the cloud-soft 100% extra fine alpaca.

Best of holiday wishes and a very happy new year to you!

Alright Folks- while I work out the Monty Python BOM, December’s BOM is going to be a revisit to the FIRST EVER Club at Slipped Stitch Studios!

You have all asked for this (and I’m pretty sure the tote is going in my stash as well). Here is the extra special awesome about this club — the fabric has been slightly revised!

This one now includes the Doctor (when he “wasn’t” the Doctor) AND #12!!

These will be on sale this week (Scheduled for Wednesday December 17th at 9am PST.

If you want to get this as a Christmas present, we will have a certificate you can download and print out for your giftee so that, they can have something to open for the holidays!

In 2013, Etsy opened its marketplace to Chinese manufacturers, undermining the ideology upon which Etsy was founded. Although they maintain that they limit their sellers to “handmade items,” more and more I find that I, as a buyer, have to wade through pages and pages of mass-produced Chinese products before being able to view my own shop’s listings. That’s not what I, personally, consider to be support of the made-in-America artisan. So, even though the holiday shopping season is upon us, I’ve decided to say good-bye to Etsy and move my shop to a marketplace that is what Etsy used to be: dedicated to artisans and hand crafters. (My Etsy shop will be closing in December.)

You can find the new Cedar Hill Farm Company shop on Zibbet.com — the same OOAK hand painted and hand dyed luxury yarns and fibers, just a different, more artisan-supported venue. I hope that you will check out my new digs!

And speaking of the holiday shopping season… to celebrate the opening of my new shop, there will be a sale! Visit Cedar Hill Farm Company @ Zibbet.com for a holiday (Black Friday all week long!) sale, beginning November 24th and ending November 30th. Automatically save 20% on all fingering and sport weight yarns and hand-sewn project bags — no coupons needed. Visit me @ http://www.zibbet.com/cedar-hill-farm-company for those special holiday gifts!

Exotic locations, exciting adventures and new experiences all at the tips of your needles.

The weather is cooling and your needles are calling to you … It’s September and in 14 short weeks it will be Christmas morning: 14 weeks may seem like a long time, but remember last year, when you were rushing to finish those holiday gifts? Remember last year when you said “It’s only September. I have plenty of time!”?

To help you keep this year’s resolution to not be that procrastinating kind of knitter or crocheter again this year, the one who’s too stressed to enjoy the season because she’s running out of time to make her gifts, there are lovely new goodies in the shop (and a weekend sale for our newsletter subscribers!). Alpaca DK and lace weight alpaca, DK and worsted weight pure wool, fingering weight superwash wool, and plenty of fit-in-your-purse 8 x 10 hand sewn and fully lined project bags to hold your holiday knitting and notions. We have also begun carrying Knitter’s Pride and ChiaoGoo needles in the Cedar Hill Farm Company Etsy shop, making Cedar Hill Farm Company a one-stop shopping experience for that new project you’re itching to start.

And speaking of new projects… Have you checked out the new Whitby Place Hat & Cowl pattern available from Ravelry, Etsy, and Craftsy?
