I had a bit of a fangirl Squee this week when I confirmed the newest vendor for the Indie Untangled pre-Rhinebeck trunk show. Hold onto your hand-knit hats, because it’s none other than… Anne Hanson! Yes, this uber-talented designer will be bringing her Bare Naked Wools, a line of natural, dye-free wools created at American mills. Louise, AKA The Cryptozoologist has taken her yarn to a new “level.” Her shop has been updated to include 100% British BFL Aran-weight skeins, with some more fun video game-inspired colorways. OK, so I might not be quite so obsessed with Wes Anderson that I would drop over a grand to go on a Grand Budapest Hotel-themed cruise cruise (no, I did not make that up), but I am super excited about the Canon Hand Dyes Wes Anderson updates. The first one is happening TODAY at noon PDT, and it will have six-color self-striping skeins and six-color gradient sets inspired by the movies Bottle Rocket and Rushmore….
