What to stash this week: A new crew for the ultimate indie yarn club

A collage with a wreath of brown, orange and cream flora; blue buildings and a sea; a saxophone and a glass of whiskey and a moody lake.

I’m excited to announce the teams and open sign-ups for Where We Knit 2023. Starting in February, you’ll receive quarterly installments from:

Porter Wool Co and Samantha Guerin
Miss La Motte and Nidhi Kansal of Nidhi Knits
Hudson + West and Saysha Greene
Knotty Pine Fiber Co. and Megan Nodecker of Pip & Pin

Their inspiration photos are shown in the image above, clockwise from top left, and you can read more about them in the listing.

Aside from the yarn and pattern, each shipment will include a surprise gift from a third small business. After each installment ships out, you’ll get to learn more about the collaboration through Zoom interviews with the team that are open only to club members.

Membership has other privileges: All yarn club members will receive a code for 15% off all purchases from Indie Untangled in 2023!

You have the option of a one-time payment for a discounted price or payment each quarter, and there’s also an option to purchase the club as a gift for a special knitter in your life, if you want to avoid the holiday shipping rush. Sign-ups run through December 31, 2022.

If your stash is overflowing, you can also sponsor a yarn club installment for a low-income knitter, or apply for a grant yourself.
