We have an exciting shop update to share with the Indie Untangled community this week. Two new colourways – Smokey Aubergine and Quantum – have been added to the Etsy shop! Smokey Aubergine is a mysterious colour, full of foggy notes of pink, purple and grey. Quantum is a futuristic colourway, combining groovy tie dye techniques with striking turquoise, teal and bright white. Both colourways would make a lovely pair of socks or, used in combination with some of our other hand dyed skeins, a soft and luxurious sock yarn shawl. Visit One Hand in the Dyepot Yarns on Etsy to grab these skeins before they’re gone!

Every year during the month of April we hold a Knit Along on the Elliebelly Group on Ravelry. This year we’re knitting a hat, a cowl, two different weight shawls, socks and even have a category for finishing a sweater you already have on your needles. Although you’re welcome to knit with us no matter what yarn you are using, this year, for the first time in eight years, Elliebelly is reopen and you can find Elliebelly yarn in stock in my shop for all of your projects. There is everything from fingering to bulky weight yarn in the shop. This morning, I’ve added in some of our Cloud Soft Aran, in four different colorways. I hope you’ll take a look and come knit with us!

TeenyButton Studio yarns are dyed in and inspired by the vibrant city of New Orleans! We have tons of fun speckled colorways inspired by the sights, sounds, and smells you can experience here and each skein is a small taste of New Orleans culture. We also dye yarns inspired by pop culture and geeky fandoms, and frequently offer mini skein sets based on different books and television shows. Check out our newest Harry Potter Yarn of the Month Club to receive a magical club-exclusive colorway each month!

Hi everyone!

It’s been too long since I’ve posted over here, but I promise you all that’s about to change. First up, I’d like to let you all know that I’ve added another collection to my Etsy shop. In addition to the 30 colors in my Downton Abbey inspired collection and the 24 colors in my Jane Austen inspired collection, I’ve got 24 Beatrix Potter inspired character colors now in my Etsy shop. All of the colors in each collection are dyed to order, and available on your choice of bases. Please pop over and check them out!

I admit it, socks are my very favorite thing in the world to knit. I can’t think of a time in recent years when I haven’t had at least one sock on the needles. When I created Socktastic, I wanted a pattern that would be fun and easy and maybe a little addictive. Well, it’s important to be careful of what you wish for because once I cast on, I couldn’t stop! Three pairs of Socktastic’s later and I finally sent the pattern to Michelle of Berry Colorful Yarnings and Margie, AKA the Best Test Knitter on this side of the world, for test knitting. Now you need to understand that Michelle wasn’t fond of knitting socks before this pattern. If you follow her on Instagram, you’ll see that she’s got some mad knitting skills and dyes up some amazing yarns, but until recently there weren’t a lot of sock in progress pictures. After test knitting Socktastic, she can’t seem to keep socks off of her needles! So be prepared and be warned, this is an addictive pattern!

The pattern includes both written and charted instructions.

Pink Fluffy Llamicorns have arrived… and they just might be dancing and knitting rainbows.

I find inspiration from different places and I couldn’t help but wonder… what would happen if a Pink Fluffy Unicorn and a Rainbow Llamicorn were to fall in love? And it’s this kind of crazy, magical, creative love that gives rise to the PINK FLUFFY LLAMICORN!

This particular color will be available as a pre-order starting today until Sunday, March 19, 2017 until 8 p.m. EDT and can be found listed in the in stock section of my website.

BUT WAIT… there is more.

If you order a skein of Pink Fluffy Llamicorn then I will also send you a Pink Fluffy Llamicorn Stitch Marker for FREE! Limit one stitch marker per customer.

Salt Pond is a top down crescent shawl worked with alternating sections of garter and slip stitch. A simple eyelet border frames the bottom.
The colors in this shawl reminded me of salt and the sea. This shawl is named after the salt pond at Point Judith, RI.

Materials:
Approximately 500 yards/ 457 m of DK weight yarn ( 160 yds each of 3 colors)

Hello everyone. We are Black Wolf Ranch and Fiber. I just wanted to tell you a little bit about us. We create homegrown yarns that preserve, support and sustain the U.S. ranching lifestyle. We are passionate about Alpaca and domestic textiles and we source our yarns with fiber from the ranch and from local ranchers in our home state of Montana.

Our passion for this lifestyle gives us the inspiration we need to design unique yarns and dye colors to accent the natural colors found in the Alpaca, Merino, Cormo and BFL yarns we create. All yarns are sourced and milled in Montana or the US, all dyeing is done here on the Ranch. Our loyal customer base follows us across the US as we tour fiber festivals. At each show we share our story, our yarns, and photos of our animals and introduce new customers to our luxurious yarns.

We just debuted our new spring colors. Come check them out!
