We adore playing with color and some colors just draw us in and make us want to include them in every project. Our newest colorway to be added to the shop is Horse & Buggy and is just one such colorway! This beauty is a light lavender, almost periwinkle, tonal with a few speckles thrown in just to show off. It was first introduced in our 2022 Twelve Days of Christmas calendar and we just couldn’t resist stocking it in the shop for everyone to enjoy! Try it with Cliffhanger this week for an unexpected, yet stunning, pairing!

Sock knitters rejoice! This week sees our newest colorway offered in THREE weights of Sock Sets! That’s right; Horse & Buggy comes in fingering, DK, and worsted weight sock sets this week! These are not expected to last, so snag a whole family of Sock Sets to keep your needles humming along.

We’ve got a rich colorway this week that we know you’ll love! Caledonia was the latin name bestowed upon the area of Britain that lies north of the River Forth, i.e. Scotland. It’s a romantic name that conjures all the mystery and intrigue of the country and this colorway captures it perfectly! Our colorway was originally named for the color of the train, the Caledonia Sleeper, that we rode when the Yarny Ewes travelled to Scotland and now, it can be yours! The 2023 Dye Live Plus Club is now open, with expanded bases! Subscribe for each three-month series separately, or subscribe for the complete nine-month club. Each month of your membership, you’ll be treated to a private Facebook group where you are virtually invited into the dye studio for special live dye events where you can see the monthly yarn being dyed up! Members have access to a live chat allowing you to interact with the dyer, learn about some processes and more! Then, your yarn is shipped to you along with a special “plus” goodie in the theme of the club/yarn! This is one of our most popular clubs and often is sold out, so be sure to subscribe today! Our Wednesday Spooky Mystery box, based upon the hit Netflix show Wednesday is now available! We’ve been loving the show and enjoying the adventures of the protagonist, Wednesday Addams. Her acerbic wit and monotone fashion taste spun us for a loop down the dark stairs… in a good way!

And what do we do when we fall in love with something? Well, we dye yarn! In this case, we offer an entire themed mystery box that we think you will love! The premium goodies are amazing and we think you’ll cackle with glee upon digging into the box… like one does into a grave. 🙂 Check out the mood board for hints about colors and tone of the box.

Choose your yarn base and how many hanks and leave the rest to us. The yarn colorway has been planned and it’s amazing…and it’s exclusive! The colorway is a split hank; something we don’t do often as it’s so labor intensive, but it turns out so unique and beautiful and the vibe of this box is just right for it!

Our 2023 Holiday Calendars are now available on presale! The Eight Nights of Hanukkah and Twelve Days of Christmas calendars for 2023 promise to be our most interactive holiday offering yet. Each is an invitation to tea and will be filled with yarn, goodies, and fun and interesting opportunities to learn and do more! Calendars are only available while supplies last and right now, early bird pricing is available. It’s the best time to order. Many of our friends order both as the yarn and goodies are different in each! We’re marking our calendar now and hope to see you at the “tea salon” next year for the holidays.

We’re thrilled to announce our 2023 Annual Project: The Beekeeper’s Quilt Club! We have options for knitters and crocheters. This is our most robust annual project yet with a private Facebook group for members, quarterly Zoom Happy Hours, a monthly yarn subscription with bee-related swag, a gorgeous club bag, a donation to a vetted bee charity and more! Well, it may not be snowing in Florida where we are, but a EWE can dream!

The First Snow Beanie and Cowl patterns by Noemi Zimmer really caught our attention when they recently debuted. Immediately, we sprung into action to plan kits and now, they are here! The kits contain all you need for both patterns plus coupon codes for both. Worsted weight means they knit up super fast and well, at this time of year, that’s a huge bonus!

We’ve got some really timely colors back in the shop this week. Deck the Halls offers just the right amount of sparkle, while English Holly and Spindleprick Red are great to have on hand this time of year, but also perfect colorways to “stock the stash!”

The chill is in the air and as the lights brighten our days, so does the yarn!
