I’m so excited to join all the talented artisans on this site and become an “official” Indie Untangled vendor!

The yarn ball bags that Vicki of That Clever Clementine created as a giveaway to celebrate the launch are now available for sale. We are starting off small and taking a limited number of preorders of “Belle” drawstring project bags and “Snapdragon” notions pouches, which are the perfect accessories for any knitter. Visit the new Indie Untangled Shop for all the details and to place your order. For now, you can purchase one of each bag, but we plan to make more depending on the response.

At Bijou Basin Ranch, we’re counting down the days till the premier of Outlander this August! As longtime fans of Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander book series which is now being made into a TV show, we were inspired to create a spectrum of “Outlandish” hand-dyed colorways for two of our most popular and luxurious bases. For the first time ever, our Merino and Yak blend yarn, Himalayan Trail, is being dyed in our Outlandish colors which encompass a broad spectrum of semi-solid hues. Our versatile Yak and Bamboo blend yarn, Lhasa Wilderness, is also available in the Outlandish semi-solid hues, and there are also four variegated “Tartans.” ALL bases and colors are in stock and ship within 24 hours!

This month’s special buttons are also a “new release.” 😉 Mustache buttons! I have only done them in two colors so far, red and blue, but they can be done in any color and size. If you want the color changed, either contact me to have a custom order (no extra charge) or just leave a note when you check out letting me know what color(s) you want.

So, for all of June this set of five 5/8″ buttons is on sale for only $6!!! Any colors!

Here are the links for convenience: Blue Mustache buttons and Red Mustache Buttons! Thanks so much for looking! Have an awesome day!

P.S. “I really mustache you a question, but I’ll shave it for later.” 😉

Okay, so here’s the deal. My Etsy shop is perilously close to 500 sales (that’s just in the Etsy shop; that number doesn’t include trunk shows, festivals, etc.)

I’m eager to get to that milestone — because once that happens, I have some giveaways planned. And I want to get to that fun part — don’t you?

So, help me reach the 500 mark … get 15% off shopwide … and then, get ready for some giveaways from That Clever Clementine!

SALE DATES: June 5 – June 10, 2014; $20 minimum purchase. Coupon code: “IndieUntangledJune”

On your mark, get set, go …. 500 sales, here I come!!

There were two new colourways in WIMBLEDON Sport 100% SW Merino added to the shop in Friday’s update — Blue Pictsies and Fenland.

As you can see in my mocked-up image, the hues are a perfect pairing for Sarah Hurwitz’s Creamsicle (from the summer issue of Pom Pom Quarterly) if someone is after something on the cooler side of the colour wheel for their beautiful, bobbly cardi!

The skeins are now in shop.

There’s been some new stuff popping up over at Skeinny Dipping — spinning fiber! But in case you don’t spin, there’s lots of yarn in the shop, too. And if you’ve been wanting a certain sweater quantity or a certain colorway on a specific base, you’ll be thrilled to know there’s a Spring Pre-Order event going on now through Monday, June 9th. Info is over at the Skeinny Dippers group on Ravelry (won’t you join us?).

It happened. Slipped Stitch Studios has found a time machine, and we used it to get the perfect 1980s Unicorn fabric. The time machine blew up as soon as we stepped off it , but man, are we glad we found this fabric!!!! Now you can too- no time machine needed!!! Check it here.

My name is Lexi Parisse and I’m a fiber artist and beekeeper. It all began at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where I received a BFA specializing in knitwear. After college I went to work in the NYC fashion industry as an assistant designer, then a design and sales consultant for the largest knitting machine manufacturer in the world, Shima Seiki. While working at Shima, I took a drop spindle class and I was hooked. Now, not only could I create a garment using yarn but I could also create the yarn too! I needed to dive deeper into my new obsession so I decided to leave my job within the fashion industry, move to Long Island and work on a fiber farm. It’s one thing to work with amazing fiber but it’s another thing to work with the animals that provide it to you. Now I am starting a new adventure in my life. I want to not only create and sell beautiful fiber and bee-related products but I want to educate people on bees and the fiber arts as well.

Check out our store for a selection of drop spindle kits, hand spun yarn, bath and beauty products, hand-dyed fiber and more! Enjoy!!

Summer has landed at Cuddlebums HQ with a blast of colour as we introduce some new bright colourways and a couple of new sparkly bases.

You will find lots of aqua, yellow and pink in our new coloursways, perfect for holiday projects, as well as new bases of gold and bronze sparkle, which are guaranteed me make your projects sparkle in the sun.

You can use the code INDIE10 to get 10% off all yarns our shop during June.

A new colorway will be added to the shop on Monday, June 2! Glory is a lovely variegated blend of red, white and blue and will be available on the Master of My Feet base. You can’t beat the lovely twist on this fingering-weight yarn, and with an amazing blend of 80% superwash Merino and 20% nylon, it can be used for oh, so many projects!
