So many new things, so little time!

Whew!! does anybody else feel like this year is racing by at an incredible pace? I don’t know about you, but I can hardly believe that it is May already and we are rapidly making our way towards summer. Kids will be out soon from school and the weather is getting nicer but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t time to start planning those fall and holiday projects! We have had so many changes and updates this year. It is hard to keep track of them all, but I will try to give you a brief highlight overview!

Our 2023 Advent is released and features themes from our childhood, which mainly means that it is a collection that has been designed off of a number of our favorite games from our childhoods over several decades! This may be one of my absolute favorite advent, I have to admit. Space is limited, but right now we have a good amount available.

We have expanded our yarn bases and now carry over 15 different bases across five different yarn weights and have added fiber breeds across multiple different breeds. Expanding our yarn base offerings has been a goal of mine for a while and I am excited to share that not only have we expanded, but we will be adding at least three additional bases over the next few months.

We have been working on a lot of custom orders, so if you are the type of person that likes to design your own yarn or have a designer work with you to create some thing truly unique to you, you have found the right place to do that! Our shop specializes in custom orders, and we have created many different color combinations for extremely special customer projects! We absolutely love to work with you to come up with something that makes your projects extra special!

We’ve added tons of new colorways, and now also have a huge line of tonals that can be ordered across all our bases!

The New Year…

It’s a new year, and we have so many new things happening this year! After a fabulous 2022, we are already gearing up to make 2023 even better! We have expanded our yarn bases and now offer 15 different yarn bases across four different yarn weights — with several more to come in the upcoming months! Looking for sock yarn, DK, worsted or bulky, we have your covered!

Much of last year was spent doing custom orders, and this year is no exception! Custom orders are some of our absolute favorite things to do, and nothing makes us happier or gives us more of a challenge than a customer asking us to pull off something spectacular! When you visit our shop, if you don’t see what you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to reach out and send us a message! We are always willing to customize, create and collaborate with you!

Along with new bases, we have a huge variety of new colorways. From shawl sets to single solid skeins, fiber braids in multiple breeds of wool, and knitting notions/bags, we have something for everyone! Patterns are going to be posted soon as well, and we just opened up signups for our extra awesome 2023 advent calendar! Choose from the traditional December Advent, or join us on a year-long choose your own adventure!

We are so thankful for each and every one of our customers and thank you all for an incredible 2022. I can’t wait to see what 2023 has in store!

It’s been a while since we’ve done one of these updates, so bear with us! We have a lot to share with you!

We’ve had some major shop updates lately, with the release of multiple new fall colorways, along with some fun brights and neons for those who like to go for a little more pizzazz! We’ve also added quite a lot of our existing colorways across more yarn bases and are working hard to expand even more — we have a large shipment of some scrumptious 100% Superwash Merino wool in worsted weight coming in the next week or so, so expect even more of your favorites, along with some new sun surprises, to drop in the next few weeks!

Huge Store Update!

Hello all!

When I first started knitting, I desperately wanted to also learn to spin my own yarn… and like many who have come before me, that ultimately led to dyeing my own fiber to spin. For quite a while now I have wanted to bring hand-dyed fiber into the shop, and I’m thrilled to announce that we have recently released the first of many fiber colorways!

We have also just released our Summer Splash set, a stunning gradient set that brings an amazing burst of color to any project. Purchase as a set, or buy individual skeins à la carte!

Our most recent shop update features several of our new Outlander-themed colorways, with Cape Town, Drums of Autumn and Dragonfly in Amber all released in the past week. We have also released several other colorways for those who are looking for a little more brightness in their projects. Our new mini skein set features deep jewel toned colors of orange, pink, purple, blue and aqua, and our new shawl set is sure to make any purple lover’s dreams come true!

New Colorways, New Sock Project Bags, Summer Knitting Box!

The first three months of the year have been racing by, and today it was finally 56 degrees in the frozen tundra of Minnesota! While I’ve lived here long enough to know that we may still get dumped on with snow a couple more times, the sunshine and birds chirping today helped to remind me that spring is REALLY on its way!

Our Summer Knitting box is nearly sold out, so if you want to grab 24 stunning mini skeins, along with some really fun full-size gifts, head on over and grab yours before they’re gone! Cashmere & Coconuts is thrilled to announce we have just released several new and exciting products!

After the incredible success of our Holiday Advent Set, based on the Great British Baking Show, we have put together our very first Summer Knitting Box! Just like our Advent set, our Summer Box comes with 24 20g mini skeins, one full size 100g skein, each based on our summer theme of geodes, crystals and agates, as well as 1-2 small themed gifts. Each skein is on our 75/25 Sock base, which is an incredibly soft and yet durable Merino/nylon base. You also have the option to upgrade your box to either our MCN Sock base, or if you really want to capture that sparkle found in so many geodes and crystals, our Sparkle Sock base!
