Introducing the colorway for the Mini Set of the Month: Easter Lily!
Easter is a time of renewal, new life, and hope. This colorway embodies the life of spring!
Available in limited quantities this month only, the update will go live Saturday morning, April 6th at 7 a.m. Central time.
In this update there are some other fun spring colors!
Grumpy Old Troll is available on several bases, including BFL Sock and SilkyYak DK, which pairs well with Mossy Woods.

I have been busy experimenting and playing with yarn and dye. There are lots of brand new colorways in the shop for spring, and some new Harry Potter-inspired colors that I am super excited about.
April is going to be a busy month for me: I will be attending a trunk show this Saturday (April 6) at The Yarn Patch in Crossville, TN. Then I will be getting ready for my first big travel event. I am excited to be vending at The Fiber Event in Greencastle, IN, on April 19 & 20. If you are in the area, please stop by – I would love to meet you.

The second installment of The Faux Holidays Club is celebrating “National Wine Day” which is May 25! We realize that this is one of those holidays that can trigger bouts of anxiety in the general populace, so we’ve put our heads together and come up with some lovely things to help ease you into the celebration!

This 6th edition of the Regency Collection is inspired by Mr. Darcy’s admiration and love for Miss Elizabeth Bennet. The collection contains three coordinating colors that would be lovely together or separately in any project. I have set up the listings so that you can purchase a kit containing all three colors or you can order each color individually. Both listings will have the colors available on a variety of yarn bases from lace to worsted. I am also working on adding a new Aran weight to the shop. So if you would like any of these colors dyed on that base or any other that you are not seeing, please contact me and I would be more than happy to dye it for you. Preorders for this edition of the Regency Collection will remain open until 8 p.m. EDT this Sunday April 7 and will ship in late June.

Hello and happy spring from Pancake and Lulu Yarn, aka PLY! For April, fun colors and spring refreshing are on my mind.
In yarn news, I am still on a speckle experimentation kick. I have been creating some new Speckle Semisolids, which read like solids from afar, but are more speckle-y when viewed up close compared to my regular semisolids. I am having so much fun using these with some more traditional speckles in my latest cast-on: the Soldotna Crop by Boyland Knitworks. This is my first Caitlin Hunter project and I see right away why she is so popular — the pattern is very addictive!
I’m also planning to create some really special spring miniskein sets this month. So keep an eye out for those. Some of these combos will be based off of my versions of the All You Need is Love hat by Swift Yarns and my Shortcut Cowl by Stephanie Lotven. Another will be based off of my version of the Nightshift shawl by Andrea Mowry.
Speaking of Andrea — I met her!! I attended Andrea Untangled in Brooklyn. It was such a fun event and a great evening with Andrea and the incomparable Kristy Glass. It was a thrill to meet both of them and to show off my Nightshift made with PLY yarn. They are both so friendly and fun, as are all the wonderful knitters who attended.
Lastly, in My Dye Studio news, I am in the process of creating and moving into a brand new huge (compared to my old) workspace! I have completely cleaned and painted the basement under my kitchen and am installing a large restaurant sink, ventilation system and work tables. Check Instagram this month for my progress reports. It will be a total dream space for me to work in. Yay for fresh spring projects!
