When yarn pirates find themselves landbound, they love sitting and knitting by the fireside! What’s more perfect than knitting up a Fireside Bandana with a perfectly curated kit? I’ve added a few new spring color combos for this luxury kit!

Fireside Bandana Kits include everything you need except your knitting needles and fun buttons: Lovely non-Superwash Organic Merino Sport Treasures Yarn, a printed Fireside Bandana pattern designed by Carina Spencer as well as a ravelry download code, stitch markers and a few bonus booty goodies too! The hardest part is picking your color theme! Will the Original Classic version speak to you? The new Rose Garden colors? Royals Blue? Wine Lover? It’s hard to choose just one.

Another amazing thing is this pattern doesn’t use any colorwork! The magic is created entirely with slipped stitches. The yarn provided is enough to knit the standard or larger sized bandana cowl. If you’re lucky enough to be leaving on a ship for an adventure, this kit is just the perfect thing to take along! Greetings Yarnians!

Any of you who are familiar with my work know that I draw inspiration, primarily, from games and anime. However, sometimes the universe hands you something you simply can’t resist. That’s what occurred a few weeks ago when I was doing some color testing, and a particular group of colors caught my eye. When I say “caught my eye,” what I really mean is that I became fixated on them and decided that I had to do something with them, even though it doesn’t align with my usual process. How fortuitous that my birthday is just around the corner… yes? And everyone should get what they want on their birthday… right?

THAT is how the Level 46 mini skein set came into being. I am absolutely entranced by it and am thrilled to be able to share it with you.

A preorder listing will be available in the Crafter Gamer Geek shop from Sunday, April 6th through Sunday, April 20th. All ordered sets will then be dyed and shipped no later than Saturday May 3rd. This will be a limited release set, which means the set will not be available again once the preorder window closes.

Level 46 will be available on my four usual mini-skein bases:
Fingering Weight Options:
• 70% Superwash Merino / 20% Cashmere / 10% Nylon (25g per skein)
• 80% Superwash Bluefaced Leicester / 20% Nylon (25g per skein)
DK Weight Options:
• 75% Superwash Merino / 25% Nylon (20g per skein)
• 85% Superwash Merino / 15% Donegal Neps (20g per skein)

New Spring Project Bags!

New project bags for spring have landed on my website. There are pretty linen and floral drawstring project bags and open-wide zipper bags with water resistant waxed canvas bases. But my absolute favorites are the waxed canvas collage totes. Each is one of a kind and a beautiful arrangement of colors and shapes. They have leather handles, magnetic snap closures, and you’ll never see someone with the same bag. Every item on my website was handmade entirely by me. They’re ready to ship — the bag you see in the photos is the one you’ll receive — and they go out within 1-2 days. Each was a labor of love for me. I hope you’ll love them, too.

I’m excited to share that I am participating in the 5th Annual Knit For Food Knit-a-Thon, happening on Saturday, April 5th!

We have worked up a limited edition colorway, “Visionary,” named after the theme of this year’s fundraiser and dyed with the sparkly, bright hope of a world without blood cancers. Visionary is a cool-toned blend of rich jewel tones with neon pops. $5 for every skein sold is donated by Terrapin Fiberworks to this campaign.
