Stitch Stuff Yarn would like to introduce new spring colors on fingering-weight 100% Superwash Merino wool. Find them and more at our shop.

Since we are new to the Indie Untangled marketplace we would like to introduce ourselves….

Hello! It’s out of our character to talk about ourselves, we would prefer to just talk about yarn, but we thought you would like to know who we are! You’re probably wondering, meet the Stuffs? We are a mother and daughter that were married and born into the Stuff family. It’s been a lifetime of people laughing about our last name and asking “do you like, have a lot of Stuff?’ By stuff do you mean yarn? Then yes!!!

I am Erin Arnevik (the daughter) and no longer have the Stuff name but it will always be in my blood. Born a Stuff, always a Stuff. I have been a knitter and yarn lover since I was 15 years old. After years of being a stay at home mom of three daughters, it was time to go back into the workforce. Then Covid hit and I had to go back to being home with the kids. During the Spring 2020 lock-down and mentally trying to navigate what was going to happen next, my husband asked me what would be my dream job. DUH!! Working with fiber arts. That is when I called my mother.

I am Holly Stuff (the mother). Yes, you heard me right, Holly Stuff! You can only imagine my thoughts when my husband told me his last name when we first met. I tried to get him to take my last name, but no go. So we have made the best of it and have “fun” with the Stuff name. Knitting has been my hobby on and off for decades. After my husband and I became empty-nesters, my husband said “you need to get a hobby.” I then dug out my knitting “stuff” and haven’t put it down since. Now he says “all you do is knit.”

Some current projects Holly and Erin are working on with the new spring colors are:
Holly is knitting a Summer Sorrel by Wool and pine. Using Splash, Ripple and Tide as a fade.
Erin is knitting a Flutter Buttshirt by Jessie Maed Design with Tulip on our new base 75% SW Merino 25% Mulberry Silk.

New spring tonals coming this week. Check back often!!

I’m celebrating my birthday weekend with dazzling debuts, a weekend-long sale, and a free gift for every Flutterby friend! ????

I was inspired by how we as a fiber community have grown together while apart and used that concept to create my MDSW festival exclusive. The sparkling leaves of the bead are kept snug and secure by an intricate wrap of wire — with graceful curves and spirals that complete the piece with flair. My signature Noteworthy style holds your shawl in place throughout the day and enables you to try your hand at new styling techniques, just as we have all helped to hold each other up and learn new skills.

Starting right now through Monday, you can preorder the Laurel Leaves MDSW 2021 Exclusive Shawl Pin in your choice of Shining Gold or Vintage Bronze. Along with FREE shipping within the U.S. on all orders over $15, you’ll save 10% sitewide with code MDSW2021 now through Monday. Each shopper who uses the code will find a free goodie bag of mystery notions in their order as a special birthday treat!

Hello everyone!

With the wonderful reception of my March Madness Mini surprise set, I decided to create a summer surprise set: A Mini Summer Night's Dream! Come and join in the fun — this listing will be open for a short time and the sets will be made in a very limited number, so order early to avoid disappointment. Early in June, you will receive a set of 12 ethereal and dreamy mini skeins to open each day leading up to the solstice from June 9th-20th. If you like magical, summery, Shakespearian and speckly colors — than this set is for You! See the mood board for an idea of what colors I am dreaming up. These can be knit up as unwrapped each day or you can arrange and work them up after they are all revealed. It’s up to you! Each skein will be individually wrapped and numbered and there will, of course, be a few extra fun, dreamy and summery goodies tucked in here and there. You have your choice of 3 base yarns and the option to add a Dreamy Full Size skein in the same base.

I have been loving working on my Westknits Painting Honeycombs Shawl (using the minis from my March Madness set) – what a perfect pattern for all those fun little packets of color.

Speaking of mini skeins — I have about 100 colorways available made to order on 5 bases! Pop at Nothing and Sunny Side Up are a particularly striking combo for summer. I recently packed up an order of these minis and couldn't help but snap a photo when I saw them together. Another gorgeous combo one of my customers recently chose is Lobster Cream and Pop Cream (shown here with a Soak Wash single pack. I have been selling Soak wash in 3 sizes and in all of it's glorious scents in my shop since last summer).

The Full Moon for April was the Pink Moon and here is a photo of the Colorway from this year's Full Moon Yarn Series. May's Full Moon yarn will be opening soon! Sign up for my Newsletter or check my Instagram to get notified.

And finally, my 2021 Advent Calendars are still available for preorder – thank you to all who have purchased one! It seems early, but so much work goes into these that I will be happy to get started early this year!

Our Lemoyne Cowl is a perennial favorite: light and delicate, it combines an easy lace pattern with Stockinette stripes, a solid section, and finishes with a four by four ribbing.

Worked in the round, this is close fitting with a nice drape and will shield your neck from early fall drafts.

We’ve been offering kits pairing our classic Gossamer off-white with our primary colors, and now we’ve added our original pairing of Fawn and Gossamer to the line up.

The kit includes a printed copy of the pattern and two skeins of our soft, Shetland Fingering.

To celebrate our new color combination and Mother’s Day, we're taking 15% off the kits: just enter the code LC15 at checkout. This offer is good from midnight Saturday, May 1 through end of day Tuesday, May 4.

Springtime brings whimsy and these new prints are both whimsical and adorable — sushi cats, corgis, otters, and pandas. These bags are available in four sizes — sock, shawl, and sweater-sized drawstring bags, and shawl-sized box bags.
These prints are limited: once they’re gone, they’re gone! If sushi-print animals appeal, scurry over to KnitSpinQuilt before they sell out!
As always, KnitSpinQuilt donates 15% of the list price of each item purchased to charity. In 2021, donations go to Whose Corner Is It Anyway, a mutual aid fund in Holyoke MA.

Come explore the Colors of Nature through beautiful naturally-dyed yarns from Flora Adora Fibers. Flora Adora Fibers is having a HUGE shop update May 1! 4 new bases will make their debut: Wisp mohair silk laceweight, Edgeland 100% Merino worsted weight, Mountain Sport gradient sets made with squishy sportweight Rambouillet and Meander, a super-soft, organic single-ply Merino fingering weight. Lots of new colors will be also be added for existing bases: Highland DK, Zebra Crossing fingering, Merino Sock Sets and Meadow Rustic Sport.

All the yarn is non Superwash and naturally dyed with a variety of botanical materials. There will be a 10% discount May 1 and 2 with the code BOTANICA.

Flora Adora Fibers specializes in naturally-dyed yarns using non-Superwash bases. The colors come directly from nature — dye materials are either grown or collected by me, or are raw materials purchased in ground form. The dyes used are time tested, having been used for hundreds and sometimes thousands of years and are chosen for their light and color fastness.

Choosing to focus on non-Superwash bases, our yarns are warm and wooly, but still soft against your skin. Fibers include Merino, Rambouillet and Highland wools, mohair and silk.

Natural colors are not boring! There are yellows, golds, blues, greens, teals, browns, pinks, purples and everything in between. Dyes come from goldenrod, indigo, pomegranate, madder and black walnut, to name just a few. Experience the delight and satisfaction of naturally-dyed yarns!

Our yarn Kaolin is a killer weaving yarn. Case in point: the Gothfarm Yarn Summer Clutch.

The woven clutch’s simple, repeating chevron motif brings out Kaolin’s natural luster, which comes from a generous quantity of undyed, natural white Lincoln Longwool sheep locks.

The Longwool locks also give the yarn a rugged feel. This makes the clutch a sturdy, hardwearing item that works as an on-the-go bag or a more formal accessory. The Longwool is blended with Tunis sheep wool, which helps smooth out the yarn while imparting a warm, ivory white hue.

The pattern for the woven clutch is available in our online shop, and available for FREE with purchase of at least one skein of Kaolin. Just add everything to your cart and enter code “Clutch” at checkout.

Not a weaver? Kaolin is still a great option for harder-wearing knit and crochet projects, such as CJ Johnson’s Cassie Wristlet (Ravelry link).

No matter the project, keep Kaolin in mind for accessories where texture, sturdiness and, of course, eye-catching looks, are part of the plan!
