Wander through our Celtic Spring collection and celebrate the rich heritage of the Celtic lands. Whether you dream of Ireland, Scotland, Wales, or Cornwall — there’s a handcrafted journey to take with your handknits.

Our journey begins in a highland forest, the intertwined roots our new Tree of Life Pin are a reminder of how we are all connected to each other and the world around us. As you venture out of the woods into a Welsh or Cornish garden, the Blossoming Pin reminds you to take a quiet moment to stop and smell the flowers. Our journey concludes on a rolling Irish hillside with a flock of sheep grazing on the green fields of clover. This month’s limited edition end minder sets pay tribute to St. Patrick’s Day in a sparkling way. Whether you could use a lucky charm or a pot of gold this treasure trove will tame your ends and dazzle your friends.

The website is freshly restocked with old favorites and new: Fabulous rainbow yarn, stripes with sass, luscious gradients, sock and hat kits, and more!

My flagship colorway, Nothing Says Screw You Like A Rainbow, is back, along with tons of other rainbows – and really, you can’t go wrong with a rainbow.

We have mini sets that are perfect for incredible six-skein patterns like Torquata, Joker and the Thief, On The Spice Market, Lamina Wrap, etc.; gradient cakes that will make you swoon; sock kits for fun speckled gradient adventure; and swag!

Look for WBFA at Stitches United in Hartford, CT, and DFW Fiberfest in Irving, TX.

We are loving this season of Outlander Fiery Cross, with the majesty of the mountains along with the turmoil of the unfolding battle for independence. Round 1 of the Outlander Unclub featured our interpretation of burning of the cross to call the clans to prepare for war. This month, we look for something with a bit smoother and a gentle edge to it. The actual name and image will be released after this round has been delivered.

Round 2 includes one skein of hand-painted Duality fingering-weight yarn and a commissioned set of stitch markers featuring images of this season’s key characters.

As a bonus, you will be given the opportunity to order additional skeins during the current shipping month of each unclub round. After that, these beauties will be put into the vault until 2020 Stitches SoCal. Grab them while you can!

We have teamed up with an amazing designer/friend, KJH Knit Designs. We encourage you to follow her design journey.

Even though the coldest days are over here in California, I find that my wardrobe still wants for knits in the spring and summer, especially with some coverage for my arms! And so I designed the Carly Waterfall Duster.

She’s a super fast knit on size 10.5 US needles (I completed the model shown in just a week), in a comfortable easy-care blend of cotton and nylon with gorgeous colors that are saturated and rich. The lace pattern is deceptively simple and easy to memorize, even for a newbie lace knitter.

Carly is the perfect completer piece in your wardrobe. Wear her beautifully over slacks, a maxi, or a casual jeans outfit as shown here and just know how smashing you look in your newest White Lies Design!

Get the pattern free with purchase until 3/10 and start knitting her in time for spring!

Happy spring knitting!

We’re celebrating the completion of the Go Anywhere collection with 25% off ebook and individual patterns. Use code INDIELOVE by March 7th for 25% OFF the following patterns: Be Anything, In A Book, In The Sky, Take A Look, Ways to Grow or the Go Anywhere ebook.

Each pattern in the Go Anywhere collection is inspired by the Reading Rainbow. Spark your imagination and let your mind wander the path of possibilities as you create each new pattern. You can Be Anything when you make your own wings! This shawl completes my Go Anywhere collection with one last installment of inspiration and lace. With a head in the clouds and feet on the ground, we each can find our goals and step toward them stitch by stitch. With a garden trellis to connect these two beautiful worlds, this design features a strong cabled spine and lush green grass to keep you grounded, and a bright blue sky filled with butterflies to keep you dreaming.

Hello Friends!

This month over here at Pancake and Lulu, I have been working on having regular mini shop updates along with the release of weekly episodes of my new YouTube podcast. The podcast is going great and I have just recorded Episode 5. Thank you to all who have subscribed, watched, liked and commented! I wasn’t sure if or what it would become when I sat down to record that first episode, but now I have come to look forward to the weekly routine and the connection with the knitting podcast community. So, if you haven’t already, please check it out and sign up for my newsletter for the updates!

Each week, I have been making sure I have some new yarns to list (as well as old favorites). Currently in my shop I have a new colorful primary speckle on white called FUNFETTI. Also just listed is DARK FAIRY, which was a happy accident that I have decided to keep around for a while. I also released a new colorway called RASPBERRY TRUFFLE, which was one of my recent PLYarn Club colors of the month. It was so pretty, I wanted to make it available to all.

In knitting news, I finished my Love Note Sweater in time for Valentine’s Day! I created a kit using my LOVE LETTER colorway paired with my BONE Suri Silk and these are also available in my shop. I also knit up the Every Bit Cowl by Telly Bean Knits in my CAPPUCCINO colorway and added a bobble bind-off. There is a mini tutorial on how to do the bind-off in my latest YouTube episode.

It’s hard to believe that winter is almost over – it has been so mild here in New Jersey – I am still holding out that there will be one more snow!

xx,
Aimee

Who doesn’t love magical beasts and gorgeous sock yarns? Much less the two of them together? I guess a Nomaj. Hmm. But since you’re not a Nomaj, let me share my upcoming club with you!

It’s called Fantastic Socks: a yarn club inspired by Newt Scamander! It’s a year-long club featuring colorways that bring Newt’s magical creatures to life, and let me tell you, my imagination is running simply wild with ideas. I will have to choose only the very best to share in the club, and it’s going to be tough to narrow it down!

The club slots open March 1st and run either through the month of March or until I reach max capacity, and the club packages will start shipping in April! Join me on this colorful journey into the magical world of Newt and company!

Hello all, this is Caroline at The Noble Thread!

I am so happy to share with you my first collection of entirely naturally-dyed yarns. Natural dyeing has been a passion for me for many years. There is something magical with every batch of yarn, and the colors are always amazing! This first collection is inspired by the colors of the coastal Southeast: azaleas in a myriad of pinks, peaches and reds, and the ever present ocean… Between nature’s chemistry and its beauty, the possibilities are endless for me! My yarns are inspired by nature, and dyed by nature!

For this first collection and shop update I chose a wonderful 2-ply, super soft Merino/nylon blend, in a fingering weight. Each colorway is offered in 50g skeins, making them perfect for fade projects! Combining the colors is easy as naturally dyed colors always marry so well!

We also recently released a cowl pattern and a naturally-dyed cowl kit. This cowl is double thick, and sits soft and cushy next to your neck! A new sweater pattern is on my needles right now!

Happy knitting!
