Dreaming of spring, flowers, and gardens? Get yourself one step closer to warmer weather by adorning your latest project with these hand-sculpted garden gnome stitch markers from WeeOnes. Each gnome is sporting a different colored outfit — yellow, green, orange, and blue. One gnome even holds a tiny red and white mushroom. These little gnomes have hats that are so large they’ve slipped over their eyes. They are a perfect whimsical addition any fiber artist would love!

As with all WeeOnes stitch markers, you can choose soldered rings, lobster claw clasps, or lever backs for your attachments.

We are so excited about this month’s subscription box!

With our subscription box, you pick the yarn weight, we pick the colorway. And as long as you are a subscriber to the club, you get discounts on the ENTIRE site! It is the perfect gift for yourself or for your favorite fiber artist in your life!

These little hand-sculpted stitch markers from WeeOnes are the perfect addition to your projects this February. Show yourself some love by picking up some Valentine hedgehogs, pink woolly sheep, or some conversation heart stitch markers that will actually help you with your pattern. For all markers you can choose soldered rings, lobster claw clasps, or lever back attachments.

If you’re feeling up for a fun surprise — preorders are now open for a set of 12 individually-wrapped, hand-sculpted polymer clay stitch markers that will help you count down to spring. These will be migration themed and will ship in late February.

Did you know we have four styles of row counters?

Two perfect for all your counting needs and two perfect for special situations.

That means you can choose the best counter for any project you can dream up!

Original Chain Counters:
– Great for any project
– Replace any regular stitch marker and just slip it to the next number when you come to it

Circle Counters:
– Perfect for any project but half the length of our original chain row counters
– Start on 0 or 1, whichever works best for you

Odd/even Counters:
– Designed especially for flat knitting
– Count your row at the beginning of the row, every row

Shortie Row Counters:
– Count up to five rows
– Great for those 4 row cable repeat projects

Grab one of each to be prepared for any counting situation!

It’s a new year, and we have so many new things happening this year! After a fabulous 2022, we are already gearing up to make 2023 even better! We have expanded our yarn bases and now offer 15 different yarn bases across four different yarn weights — with several more to come in the upcoming months! Looking for sock yarn, DK, worsted or bulky, we have your covered!

Much of last year was spent doing custom orders, and this year is no exception! Custom orders are some of our absolute favorite things to do, and nothing makes us happier or gives us more of a challenge than a customer asking us to pull off something spectacular! When you visit our shop, if you don’t see what you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to reach out and send us a message! We are always willing to customize, create and collaborate with you!

Along with new bases, we have a huge variety of new colorways. From shawl sets to single solid skeins, fiber braids in multiple breeds of wool, and knitting notions/bags, we have something for everyone! Patterns are going to be posted soon as well, and we just opened up signups for our extra awesome 2023 advent calendar! Choose from the traditional December Advent, or join us on a year-long choose your own adventure!

We are so thankful for each and every one of our customers and thank you all for an incredible 2022. I can’t wait to see what 2023 has in store!

Hello friends, how is the new year treating you? I hope restful, refreshing, or whatever in between that you might need right now.

SquareKnot Handmade is growing! While purses and project bags are our first love, we wanted to offer a broader selection of offerings to our customers. And so this month’s shop update includes stitch markers, progress keepers and a Galentine’s-inspired gift box.

The gift box contains a carefully curated collection of self care items created by other Wisconsin small businesses. It’s the perfect gift for a dear friend, or as a treat to yourself. It features tea and tea infuser bags, a candle, soothing hand lotion, one of our Sapling pouches and a Valentines-inspired stitch marker. Bring on the zen.

Our resin stitch markers and progress keepers with both silver and gold-toned hardware are sure to brighten any project. Pair them with one of our new Willow fold over top project bags and you will be ready to conquer those languishing WIPs.

Each of these are in limited quantities as we feel out the reception for them. We hope you love them so we can bring you more in the future! You can get 15% off shopwide until the end of the month with the code KNITLOVE.

Until next time,
~ Michelle with SquareKnot Handmade

This month’s colorway is called Mint to Be! This colorway comes with an adorable snowglobe stitch marker!

The perfect row counter so you can just knit.

WE WANT YOU TO GET…
-More Uninterrupted Knitting Time: No need to take your hands off your needles to pick up a pen, click a clicker, or unlock your phone for the 400th time.
-More Confidence In Your Skills: Know exactly where you are in your pattern whether it’s been 5 minutes since you picked up your needles… or five years
-More Finished Projects: Spend less time re-counting and frogging and more time actually knitting.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Replace any regular stitch marker with your row counter and knit
2. When you come back to the row counter move it to the next number in the chain as you pass it from needle to needle
3. Once you have completed the chain (or completed a pattern repeat), move the melody clip to the next number to mark 10 rows completed (or one pattern repeat completed).
4. Keep On Knitting!
